These simple no-cook energy balls are an easy way to make a filling snack with just a handful of ingredients. Made with rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and protein powder, they come together in minutes and can be kept in the fridge for whenever you need them.
Ingredients
120 grams rolled oats (jumbo if possible)
250 grams nut butter (good quality – no palm oil or emulsifiers)
85 grams honey (or maple syrup)
30 gram scoop good quality protein powder
Makes 20-24 balls
Method
In a bowl mix together the oats, nut butter, honey and protein powder.
Continue until the mixture comes together.
Make the mixture into 1 inch balls
Keep in the fridge for 1 week or keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Variations
Add ins – you can add in flaxseeds, linseeds, chocolate chips or vanilla to these to suit your taste buds. You can also roll the energy balls in something such as shredded coconut or cocoa (However I find these a little messy).
